Refund recovery at scale is a specific discipline. It sits between the legal analysis customs and trade attorneys perform and the day-to-day entry filing customs brokers perform — and it does not look like either. We built the firm to live in that specific place.

Principles

How we run the practice.

    Document everything.

    Every assertion in every filing is backed by primary-source documentation. If a number is in the declaration, it is traceable to a 7501, an invoice, or a payment record. There is no other way to do this work.

    Align incentives.

    We only benefit when our clients benefit. The engagement is structured so that our outcome is tied to the outcome on the filing — not the volume of filings, not the hours billed, not the deck pages produced.

    Respect the license.

    Your customs broker's license is the gating piece of this process. We never operate in a way that puts it at risk, and we never position ourselves as a substitute for the filer of record.

    Say the quiet part.

    If a case is not recoverable, we say so. If a timeline is unrealistic, we say so. If a number is not defensible, we say so. The alternative is to over-promise early and under-deliver later — a model other firms can run if they want to.
